Don’t alert the Pride, but Hulu has renewed Marvel’s Runaways TV show for a second season of 13 episodes*. The season one finale, episode 1.10, “Hostile,” will debut on Hulu tomorrow, January 9th, and the cast will live tweet it at 9:00pm ET/6:00pm PT. The Marvel’s Runaways season two release date is still TBD. When we know more, you will, too.
A superhero drama, streaming on the Hulu paid subscription platform, Marvel’s Runaways stars Rhenzy Feliz, Ariela Barer, Lyrica Okano, Gregg Sulkin, Virginia Gardner, Allegra Acosta, Julian McMahon, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Brittany Ishibashi, James Yaegashi, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannagh, Annie Wersching, Kip Pardue, James Marsters, and Ever Carradine. It follows six unusually gifted Los Angeles teens who discover their parents share a sinister secret.

‘MARVEL’S RUNAWAYS’ RENEWED FOR SEASON 2

Fantastic news — our Runaways will return for a second season on Hulu!
Marvel and Hulu officially confirm that “Marvel’s Runaways” will return for Season 2, continuing the adventures of our young heroes who are now on the run!
“We’re thrilled about ‘Runaways’ Season 2. Our partnership with Josh [Schwartz] and Stephanie [Savage] and Hulu has been as exciting as the reaction to the show from our fans — both new and old!” said Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer and Head of Marvel TV.
“We’re so privileged that Marvel and Brian K. Vaughan trusted us with Runaways,” said Executive Producers and Co-Showrunners Schwartz and Savage. “We couldn’t be more excited to continue telling this story. It’s been a blast making the show with the cast and crew. We can’t wait to see where we can take the story in Season 2 and to stay on the run.”
Schwartz and Savage continued, “The conversations with the fans have been gratifying. We hear and see you. We appreciate your passion and hearing how much the show means to you. Beware the possibility of a dinosaur on the streets of Los Angeles…and earthquakes!”

*NOTE: Although the release doesn’t specify an episode count for season two, Deadline reports the renewal is for 13 episodes, whereas season one will wrap up tomorrow, with episode 10.
