Is there another season in store for Master of None? Creator and star Aziz Ansari recently spoke about the future of his Netflix series.
Master of None debuted in November 2015 and just won Best Comedy Series at the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards.
Speaking to the press, Ansari and series co-creator Alan Yang said they were still ‘figuring out” what a second season would be about. Ansari added that the “first season was so personal,” he needed time to “refill” his head:
The first season was so personal and I want to make sure that what ever we do for season two lives up to what we did for season one. We’d love to do it; we’re figuring it out.”
He did sound optimistic about a second season, saying “the well is empty, but hopefully it will be refilled.”
