This is not just smoke and mirrors. The Masters of Illusion TV show has been renewed for a seventh season on The CW. Season seven is slated to premiere in the summer of 2017.
Dean Cain hosts the series, which has featured magicians, illusionists, and escape artists, including Michael Grandinetti, Jonathan Pendragon, and Murray SawChuck. David McKenzie, Gay Blackstone, David Martin, and Al Schwartz executive produce.
The CW says, “The series features amazing magic performed by cutting-edge illusionists and escape artists, and performers in each episode display skills ranging from perplexing interactive mind magic to hilarious comedy routines. Live audience members and viewers at home will be baffled by the astounding skills of these modern illusionists.”
The network also announced it has picked up new seasons Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Whose Line Is It Anyway?, which will also return in the summer of 2017.
