Although it is a spin-off of Sons of Anarchy, in its freshman installment, the Mayans MC TV show on FX didn’t do nearly as well in the Nielsen ratings as the original series. It still managed to be the cable network’s second-best rated series last year though, and now it is back for a second season. Can it build up its audience this time around, or will it run out of gas? Will Mayans MC be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
An FX drama, Mayans MC stars JD Pardo, Clayton Cardenas, Edward James Olmos, Sarah Bolger, Michael Irby, Carla Baratta, Antonio Jaramillo, Raoul Max Trujillo, Richard Cabral and Danny Pino. Meanwhile, their father, Felipe (Olmos) wants to his sons to walk the straight and narrow path.
