Bravo has cancelled the Million Dollar Listing San Francisco TV series after its first season. Kathleen Pender of SFGate.com reports Bravo has confirmed it will not renew the newest installment in the Million Dollar Listing franchise, for a second season. The other series in the franchise are Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, Million Dollar Listing New York, and Million Dollar Listing Miami.
Season one of Million Dollar Listing San Francisco ran for nine episodes from July 8 to September 2, 2015. The show followed real estate agents, Justin Fichelson, Andrew Greenwell, and Roh Habibi, trying to outsell each other in an emerging market. The series was produced by World of Wonder. Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, and Danielle King executive produced.

With price points rising 34% in the last two years, this start-up mecca is in the middle of a real estate revolution. From the breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge to the highs of the Twin Peaks, these brokers-by-the-bay are listing some of the most expensive and architecturally unique properties around the country. In this town competition is steep and these agents are always rushing to find their next golden listing and billionaire client.
“Million Dollar Listing San Francisco” is produced by World of Wonder with Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell and Danielle King serving as executive producers.
SFGate.com says, “A Bravo spokeswoman confirmed that the cable network ‘decided not to move forward with a second season’ but wouldn’t say why.”
According to the report, Habibi announced on social media that Million Dollar Listing San Francisco would not be picked up for season two, but his posts have since been taken down. Here’s more from SFGate:
The show’s other two stars, Justin Fichelson and Andrew Greenwell, said Bravo’s casting company spent about four months looking for another cast member for season two but did not sign one.
‘Million Dollar Listing’ has versions in New York and Los Angeles that have run five and eight seasons, respectively.
But ‘this is not New York or Los Angeles. Los Angeles has a plethora of people involved in the entertainment industry looking to be on TV in the first place’, Fichelson said. The show ‘is a business show, but also entertainment’.

Fichelson said he enjoyed the first season and ‘would 100 percent do it again’. But he says that it was ‘very hard to get (clients) to do it’.
Not having seen the show, ‘they were fearful’, he said. ‘Now, if there were a second season, I have a whole list of people who want to be on it with beautiful homes’.
Greenwell said Bravo had a hard time finding another cast member. ‘I think they went through 400 people’, he said. ‘By the time they were able to find one, we basically missed our programming window’.
