Things are looking up for a star of the cancelled Mob City TV show. TNT vet Jeremy Luke will recur on NBC’s new hit drama series, This Is Us, with his former Mob City co-star, Milo Ventimiglia. A limited event series, Mob City was cancelled after one, short six episode season, back in 2014.
Deadline reports Luke will play Darryl, one of Jack’s (Ventimiglia) best friends growing up. Darryl is reportedly “a sweet blue collar kid who idolizes Jack.” NBC‘s This Is Us also stars Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Chris Sullivan, Susan Kelechi Watson, and Ron Cephas Jones.
