Modern Family follows three Los Angeles familes who are interrelated through Jay Pritchett and his adult children. The returning ensemble cast is Ed O’Neill, Sofía Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould, Rico Rodriguez, and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.
The family sitcom is down about 17% year-to-year — averaging a 3.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.92 million viewers — but it remains the network’s highest-rated scripted show by far.
