Mom isn’t going away anytime soon. Deadline reports CBS has renewed the TV show for seasons seven and eight.
The hit sitcom centers on Christy (Anna Faris), a single mom in recovery who has moved back in with her own single mother, Bonnie (Allison Janney), who’s also in recovery. The cast also includes Jaime Pressly, Mimi Kennedy, Beth Hall, and William Fichtner.
A Look at the Ratings:
It’s no surprise that CBS has renewed Mom. The comedy series has been a ratings hit since it debuted in 2013. So far, season six is earning a 1.25 rating in the 18-49 demo and. 8.104 million viewers, making it one of CBS’ top-rated series for the 2018-19 season.
