Mr. Robot will return to USA with season two, and fans are getting teased about the upcoming season at fan events for the series. The creator, Sam Esmail, and the cast spoke about the series at an event held at the Paley Center.
The cast and crew tried to keep the spoilers to a minimum. According to Deadline, Portia Doubleday said that she had been told that season two is “pretty dark.”
Carly Chaikin also offered a small teaser about season two. She said that fans would “learn more about how they put FSociety together.”
Sam Esmail did not share any spoilers for season two, but he did talk about the end of the series.
“The (movie’s) story is about what happens after Elliot discovers that Mr. Robot is a deeper, alter ego. We’re staying on track in regards to what the end of the movie would be.”
