Murder in the First has added a new series regular to the cast for season three. The TNT series will feature Michael Gaston during the upcoming season, according to a report from Variety.
Gaston’s casting reunites him with Steven Bochco. The pair last worked together on Blind Justice, which aired in 2005. The NYPD Blue spin-off was cancelled by ABC after just one season.
On Murder in the First, Gaston will play “Fred Arkin, a warm family man who is a DUI defense attorney in a high-profile case.” In recent years, Gaston has appeared on HBO’s The Leftovers and NBC’s latest hit series, Blindspot.
