It’s time to say goodbye. Only a few weeks ago, Discovery Channel announced that its long-running and popular series Mythbusters would be ending after its next season in 2016.
In honor of the show’s ending, co-host Adam Savage posted photos and remembrances from his last day of shooting this week.
Mythbusters began in 2003 and soon grew to be a huge hit for Discovery with its fun and accessible take on science. Over the course of more than 250 episodes, hosts Savage and Jamie Hyneman took on more than 1000 myths.
Savage was emotional, to say the least.
On his Twitter, he posted a sad image of his empty office desk, paid homage to the show’s set and crew, and thanked everyone for “an amazing day & an amazing 14 years.”
