Nashville has some new company. Entertainment Weekly reports Josh Stamberg, Jake Etheridge, Rainee Lyleson, Nic Luken, and Dylan Arnold have joined season six of the CMT TV show.
The upcoming season is slated to premiere in January 2018 and will see the return of regular cast members Hayden Panettiere, Charles Esten, Clare Bowen, Sam Palladio, Chris Carmack, Jonathan Jackson, Lennon Stella, and Maisy Stella.
On season six of Nashville, Stamberg will be playing “Darius, an extremely charismatic founder of a self-actualization movement that has transformed many lives,” Etheridge will play a military veteran with a passion for music named Sean, and Lyleson has been cast as Alannah, “a beautiful singer-songwriter who starts out as a backup singer but will soon be discovered for the star that she actually is meant to be.”
Meanwhile, Luken will play “Jonah Ford, a famous male pop star who’s very handsome, extremely confident, and charming” and Arnold will portray “Twig, a childhood friend/entourage member to Jonah Ford” on the CMT drama.
