Nashville will return with its fifth season in January, and TV Guide has teased a bit about the new season, which will air on its new home – CMT.
TV Guide reported that the series is now looking to cast a transgender character to its cast. The cast will be involved in Juliette’s life after the plane crash that ended season four.
Yes, Juliette survived! That much was made clear when it was revealed that Hayden Panettiere was returning for the fifth season. Nothing else has been revealed about the role, but it was teased that Juliette will not have an easy time following the crash.
