NCIS: New Orleans: Season Four Ratings

NCIS: New Orleans TV show on CBS: season 4 ratings (canceled or season 5 renewal?)

Like last year, the NCIS: New Orleans TV show won’t have the security of airing directly after the original NCIS, which remains the most watched scripted series on CBS. Unsurprisingly, the spin-off did shed some viewers in its new timeslot. But, although NCIS: New Orleans ran about middle of the pack in terms of its demo ratings, it still managed to be a top-five show where total audience is concerned. Since this fourth season will give it a decent sized syndication package, it is time to wonder how much longer it will remain on the air. Will NCIS: New Orleans be cancelled or renewed for season five? Stay tuned.

A military action procedural, NCIS: New Orleans stars Scott Bakula, CCH Pounder, Daryl Chill Mitchell, Lucas Black, Rob Kerkovich, Shalita Grant, and Vanessa Ferlito. The CBS drama centers on Special Agent Dwayne Pride (Bakula) and his team at the local field office in New Orleans. Together, they investigate criminal cases involving military personnel.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

5/16/18 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.

For comparisons: The third season of NCIS: New Orleans averaged a 1.18 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 9.574 million total viewers (live + same day ratings).

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
