The Night Of just ended its first season this past Sunday, but will there be more? Recently, The Hollywood Reporter spoke with star Riz Ahmed about the future of the HBO series.
The drama examines the American criminal justice system through the story of one, mysterious case. The cast also includes Afton Williamson, Amara Karan, Ashley Thomas, Ben Shenkman, Bill Camp, Chip Zien, Glenn Fleshler, Glenne Headly, Jeannie Berlin, and John Turturro,
When asked if he thinks there will be a second season, Ahmed said maybe:
I think it was conceived of as a one-season one-off and perhaps there’s a second season they might do a different case like they did in the British version of the show. I think sometimes it’s said, “Better to quit while you’re ahead.”
