The Night Shift will air on NBC this summer, and a new actor has been added to the cast. Mark Consuelos will have a recurring role on the drama.
TV Line shared the following about Consuelos’ role on the NBC drama:
“His character, Cain, is described as a highly confident and aggressive travel nurse who emigrated to the U.S. from Mexico.”
What does the casting mean for Pitch on FOX? The series has not yet been renewed for a second season, and a decision will be made next month, per previous comments from the network:
“We were very proud of Pitch. We would’ve loved to have seen a bigger audience. [It] had a loyal core. I don’t think the performance level enabled us to make an early decision about it, but as we get to May, we’re certainly going to consider it.”
