Once Upon a Time: Should It Be Cancelled? Rebooted for Season Seven?

Once Upon a Time TV show on ABC: canceled or renewed for season 7?

Once Upon a Time is currently in its sixth season, but what about a seventh? ABC has not yet announced whether the show will be renewed or not, and recent interviews with the creators suggest the series will be heavily retooled if it does return. What do you think? Should the series be cancelled or would you watch a seventh season?

The fantasy drama stars Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Josh Dallas, Lana Parrilla, Emilie de Ravin, Colin O’Donoghue, Jared S. Gilmore, Rebecca Mader, and Robert Carlyle.

Recently, we reported that contract negotiations are underway for a possible seventh season. However, season seven might not include the all of the current cast members. Earlier, executive producer Edward Kitsis told Collider season six will end one chapter of the show and season seven could introduce new storylines and new characters:

We are going to complete some stories this year. There’s one chapter to this book that Henry has, so maybe it’s time for us to get to the end of that chapter. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a second book and a second chapter, just like in everyone’s life.”

It remains uncertain if ABC will renew Once Upon a Time. The ratings for season six have not been good. So far, the season is averaging a 1.01 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 3.392 million viewers.

But, what do you think? Are you a fan of Once Upon a Time? Do you think ABC should cancel the show, renew it “as is”, or reboot it for a seventh season?
