Are you looking for a post-Valentine’s Day date? MTV’s got your back. The cable channel is reviving its cancelled comedic dating TV show, Parental Control. In the reality series, parents choose who their children date, and replace less-than-suitable suitors with “better” ones.
Deadline reports, “Casting is underway for the new installment of the [Parental Control] series, which previously aired on MTV from 2006-2010.”
According to the report, MTV intends to up its unscripted programming. Last week, MTV, VH1 and Logo President Chris McCarthy announced MTV would return “the focus of its original programming to reality, music and live shows.”
