The Playing House TV series has been renewed for a third season on the USA Network. The cable channel announced the renewal during today’s TCA winter press tour panel.
Playing House stars creators Lennon Parham as Maggie Caruso, and Jessica St. Clair as Emma Crawford. Childhood friends, they are now raising a baby.
From Variety:
[Stars] Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair made a surprise appearance at the bi-annual press tour.
Interrupting USA Network president Chris McCumber at TCA in a funny skit, Parham and St. Clair bombarded their network president asking about a renewal saying, “It just would be such a shame. Because the show ended up on multiple lists for 2015.” The ladies then ensued to scream with happiness.
Hailing from Universal Cable Productions, the series was created by stars Parham and St. Claire, who’s real life friendship inspired the fan-favorite show.
The Playing House season three premiere date has not yet been announced. The full second season of Playing House is available to stream at USANetwork.com.
