Long-running design competition series, Project Runway, began on Bravo before moving to Lifetime for season six. Now, with its 14th season finale scheduled to air Thursday, November 5, 2015, Lifetime is gearing up new spin-off, Project Runway Junior. Contestants on the new series must be between the ages of 13 and 17.
Tim Gunn and model Hannah Davis will host the show and mentor the contestants. The judging panel consists of Kelly Osbourne; season 4 Project Runway winner, Christian Soriano; and fashion editor Aya Kanai. Special guests scheduled for this season include First Lady Michelle Obama, and actress Bella Thorne. Project Runway Junior has its Lifetime series premiere, Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 9:00pm ET/PT. Continue for the contestants names and more series details.
Contestants are competing for a scholarship to California’s Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing and related cash and prizes. They are: Bridget, 16 of Brockton, MA; Jaxson, 15 of Minneapolis, KS; Jesse, 16 of Swampscott, MA; Matt, 17 of Manhattan Beach, CA; Maya, 13 of Maumee, OH; Peytie, 15 of Carlsbad, CA; Samantha, 16 of South Ozone Park, NY; Sami, 16 of Westlake, CA; Victoria, 17 of Westlake, OH; Ysabel, 17 of Artesia, CA; Zachary, 16 of Berkeley, CA; and Zach, 15 of Louisville, KY.

It’s time for a different set of school supplies – scissors, sewing machines and fabric! The new school year brings the freshman class of young designers in the inaugural season of PROJECT RUNWAY JUNIOR (#ProjectRunwayJunior). This next generation of up-and-coming fashionistas, ages 13 to 17, will be mentored by Emmy® Award winner Tim Gunn who co-hosts alongside supermodel Hannah Davis. Kelly Osbourne, designer Christian Siriano and executive fashion editor at Cosmopolitan and Seventeen Magazine Aya Kanai, serve as judges to see who will make the grade.
