Queen of the South: Season Three Ratings

Queen of the South TV show on USA Network: season 3 ratings (canceled renewed season 4?)

The second season of the Queen of the South TV show on USA Network pretty much held its own in the Nielsens. Now that it’s back for a third season, will the ratings rise, fall, or remain flat? Will Queen of the South be cancelled or renewed for season four? Stay tuned.

USA Network drama, based on the Spanish-language telenovela and novel La Reina Del Sur, by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, Queen of the South stars Alice Braga as Teresa Mendoza, a woman on the run from a powerful drug cartel, who seeks refuge in the U.S. The cast also includes Veronica Falcón, Hemky Madera, Joaquim de Almeida, Gerardo Taracena, Peter Gadiot, Jon-Michael Ecker, and Nick Sagar.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

For comparisons: The second season of Queen of the South averaged a 0.38 rating in the 18-49 year old viewer demographic and a total audience of 1.158 million viewers.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
