Queen of the South has some new company. The Wrap reports Ryan O’Nan has joined season two of the USA Network series.
The drama revolves around a woman who is forced to run and seek refuge in America from a powerful drug cartel. The cast includes Alice Braga, Justina Machado, Hemky Madera, Veronica Falcon, James Martinez, Joaquim de Almeida, Peter Gadiot, Carlos Gomez, Mark Consuelos, and Rafael Amaya.
In season two, O’Nan will play “King George, a high-rolling Texas weed smuggler who will help Teresa Mendoza (Alice Braga) and Camila Vargas (Veronica Falcon) build their empire.” Additionally, O’Nan will join the series’ writers’ room as a story editor.
USA Network has not yet announced a premiere date for season two of Queen of the South.
