Queen Sugar: Season Two Ratings

Queen Sugar TV show on OWN: season 2 ratings (canceled or renewed for season 3?)

The first season of OWN’s Queen Sugar TV show did pretty well in the ratings. It was the cable channel’s second-most watched scripted series, in terms of the 18-49 year old viewer demo and third, in terms of total audience size. Can they repeat the magic or even build on its audience in season two? Will Queen Sugar be cancelled or renewed for a third season? Stay tuned.

Set in the fictional Louisiana town of Saint Josephine, Queen Sugar stars Rutina Wesley, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, Kofi Siriboe, Tina Lifford, Ethan Hutchison, Nicholas L. Ashe, Omar J. Dorsey, Dondré Whitfield, Timon Kyle Durrett, Greg Vaughan, and Marycarmen Lopez. OWN‘s contemporary drama chronicles the lives and loves of the estranged Bordelon siblings. Following a family tragedy, they must come together to try to save the family sugarcane farm.
