Rachael Ray: Renewed Through Season Eight

Rachael Ray renewedWhile The Nate Burkus Show and The Martha Stewart Show have both been cancelled, Rachael Ray’s syndicated series isn’t going anywhere.

The Rachael Ray show, which airs in daytime on various stations across the country, has been renewed for two more seasons. This new deal means that the series will stay on the air at least through the 2013-14 season.

ABC Owned Television Stations, CBS Television Stations and Gannett Broadcasting Among Those Stations Reupping Through Season 8

LOS ANGELES – January 10, 2012 – RACHAEL RAY, the two-time Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Talk Show (Entertainment), has been renewed for two more years through the 2013-2014 season, it was announced today by Joe DiSalvo, President of Sales for CBS Television Distribution (CTD).

The strip is already renewed across the entire country, including stations from the following groups: ABC Owned Television Stations, CBS Television Station, Gannett Broadcasting, Cox Television, Meredith Broadcasting, Media General, Post-Newsweek, Hearst Television, Allbritton Communications, LIN Television Corporation, Scripps Media and more.

“RACHAEL RAY has been a solid performer in stations’ lineups and has had a recent surge in ratings. We’re thrilled to be taking the show through eight seasons,” DiSalvo said.

RACHAEL RAY, which debuted in 2006 as the highest-rated first-run syndicated talk show since the 2002 launch of DR. PHIL, won the Daytime Emmy(R) Award for Outstanding Talk Show – Entertainment in 2009 and 2008 and was nominated for two 2011 Daytime Emmy(R) Awards and three 2010 Daytime Emmy(R) Awards.

RACHAEL RAY is distributed and produced by CBS Television Distribution in association with Harpo Productions, Scripps Networks and Watch Entertainment. Janet Annino and Joseph Freed are the Executive Producers. CTD is a unit of CBS Corp.
