Raising Hope: Season Three Ratings

FOX TV series Raising Hope ratingsWhile Jimmy is “Raising Hope,” FOX is hoping that the sitcom’s ratings will rise. Will this be the year that the comedy becomes ratings hit or could it be cancelled instead? We’ll have to wait and see.

The third season of Raising Hope typically airs Tuesday nights on the FOX network. Once again, the sitcom’s cast includes Lucas Neff, Martha Plimpton, Garrett Dillahunt, Shannon Marie Woodward, Gregg Binkley, and Cloris Leachman.

Below are the TV show’s ratings for the 2012-13 season, the best way to tell if Raising Hope is going to be cancelled or renewed for season four.

Final season averages: 1.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.77 million total viewers.

Year-to-year, the debut was down by 45% in the demo (vs a 3.1 rating) and down by 42% in viewership (vs 6.73 million). However, it was right on par with how the sitcom was performing at the end of last season.


Reference point: The 2011-12 season averaged a 2.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.83 million viewers.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
