December 4, 2012 ratings — New episodes: The Voice, Shark Tank, Raising Hope, Hart Of Dixie, Ben And Kate, Go On, New Girl, Happy Endings, Emily Owens MD, The New Normal, The Mindy Project, Don’t Trust The B In Apartment 23, Parenthood, and Private Practice. Specials: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (repeat) and Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Repeats: NCIS.
On NBC, The Voice won the night in total viewership but came in second in the demo. It drew a 3.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic (-11% week-to-week change) with 11.3 million total viewers.
At 9pm, Go On won its timeslot with a 2.5 rating (0% change) and 6.9 million. The New Normal also held steady with a 1.7 rating and 4.6 million. Parenthood dropped a bit, registering a 1.7 in the demo (-6% change) with 4.9 million.
On CBS, perennial favorite Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer did very well and drew a 2.9 rating with 10.1 million viewers. A rerun of NCIS (2.0 rating with 11.1 million) preceded Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (3.5 rating with 9.3 million). The latter had the best demo of the night and the third-highest viewership.
On ABC, a special edition of Shark Tank brought a 1.7 rating with 6.9 million viewers. Compared to the last original episode, on Friday, November 16th, the reality series was down by 11% in the demo.
Happy Endings followed with a 1.3 in the demo (+18% change) and 3.5 million and Don’t Trust The B In Apartment 23 brought in a 1.2 in the demo (+33% change) with 3.0 million. Private Practice finished the night with a 1.2 in the demo (+20% change) and 4.4 million.
On FOX, Raising Hope garnered a 1.4 rating (-22% change) with 3.7 million and Ben and Kate captured a 1.1 in the demo (-21% change) with 2.7 million viewers. New Girl drew a 2.0 in the demo (-13% change) with 4.1 million and The Mindy Project dropped to a 1.3 rating (-7% change) with 2.6 million.
And on The CW, Hart of Dixie attracted a 0.6 rating (+20% change) with 1.7 million. Already cancelled Emily Owens, MD drew a 0.4 in the demo (+33% change) with 1.6 million.

Gee, Snapps, I’d never guess that you were shilling for DISH. You were far too subtle.
This season on The Voice and The New Normal have been great and I never miss my favorite primetime shows, the only thing I hate’s I work and I have to get all my shows recorded. My families never happy I tie up all the TVs recording shows, which leaves them watching recorded events only.
Oh, Snapps… do tell me more about all the amazing features of Dish. I love getting ambushed with poorly-veiled advertisements.
I usually catch these D*SH comments but missed this one. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
