CW Hart of Dixie TV show ratingsLast season Hart of Dixie was almost cancelled due to low ratings. The network renewed it, likely with the expectation that the audience would grow. Will more people watch this season? We’ll have to wait and see.

The second season of Hart of Dixie typically airs on Tuesday nights on The CW network. The cast includes Rachel Bilson, Cress Williams, Jaime King, Scott Porter, and Wilson Bethel.

Here are the TV show’s ratings for the 2012-13 season, the best way to tell if Hart of Dixie is going to be cancelled or renewed for season three.

Year-to-year, the premiere was down by 13% in the demo (vs a 0.8 rating) and down by 18% in viewership (vs 1.88 million). This was however the show’s best performance since January 2012. Will they stay at this level or drop as they did last season.

Reference point: The 2011-12 season averaged a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.57 million viewers.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

The writers need to get a bit more involved with plot development, as I feel the characters have been thoroughly brought into our homes. Get creative! Please don’t throw in the towel but, c’mon, you’re moving at an oddly fast an unrealistic pace. Wade and Zoe’s relationship could’ve easily spanned until the season’s end and leapt more original hurdles that a lack of loyalty. I love the concept…no blood and guts, no crime and courts, not another useless reality show. I’m down for a third season! Bring it, but bring it with some depth!

I loved this show in season 1. I got into it late so I had to watch all of season 1 on netflix then watched what I could catch of season 2. So I’ve only caught season 2 from episode 14. As of Now I don’t know if this show is all that good anymore. Since they broke up Wade and Zoe and paired up Lavon with Annabeth it feels like they dono where to go with it now. It’s like they are trying to keep Wade and Lemons Characters relevant by pairing them up. They could have made it way more interesting after they broke up Zade at least have some heart break and maybe jealousy? something… The plot developments seem very random and sudden now and the plot twists that could of been more meaty and in dept were very understated. SO I dono… Its kinda uninteresting now.

I agree with you 100%…..the show is fluffy, but it had some serious potential with the Wade / Zoe heartbreak. There ‘s no tension or connection between anyone on the show. Comic relief aside….bring back some heat.

Please don’t cancel hart of dixie- it is my favourite programme. I love it!! it makes my week!! if you cancel it I will cry.
