With one family cancelled, another’s been renewed. Deadline reports ABC has renewed The Real O’Neals for a second season.
The sitcom stars Martha Plimpton, Jay R. Ferguson, Noah Galvin, Mathew Shively, and Bebe Wood as an Irish-Catholic family who stop pretending to be perfect after their middle son comes out of the closet.
So far, season one of The Real O’Neals has held steady in the ratings, with an average of 1.14 in the 18-49 demo and 3.976 million viewers. The season finale airs on May 24th.
