A dramedy set in the summer of 1985, Red Oaks follows college student David Myers (Craig Roberts) as he gets a job working at an exclusive New Jersey country club. The rest of the cast includes Ennis Esmer, Jennifer Grey, Gage Golightly, Paul Reiser, and Richard Kind.
The streaming service released the pilot episode in August 2014 and then ordered nine additional episodes a couple months later. Those were released on October 9th of this year. The second season of Red Oaks is expected to be released in 2016.
Amazon has also renewed dramas The Man in the High Castle and Hand of God for second seasons and kids show Tumble Leaf for a third season.
