Food Network is baking up a storm. Deadline reports the network has renewed Ridiculous Cakes for a second season and ordered a spin-off series, Dallas Cakes.
A docuseries, Ridiculous Cakes “spotlights out-of-this-world cakes that often defy the laws of physics and gravity.” Food Network has ordered 13 episodes for season two, which will begin production shortly.
Additionally, Food Network has ordered 10 episodes of the spin-off series Dallas Cakes, which will feature “talented, Dallas-based bakers as they conceive, create and deliver incredible, customized confections to their customers.”
Dallas Cakes is slated to debut on Food Network this spring.
