Rosewood is back for more. Variety reports FOX has renewed the series for a second season.
The police procedural stars Morris Chestnut as Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr., an optimistic pathologist who is paired with tough homicide detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz). Gabrielle Dennis, Anna Konkle, Domenick Lombardozzi, Maggie Elizabeth Jones, and Lorraine Toussaint also star.
The series debuted in September to favorable ratings and has continued to perform decently during in its freshman season. So far, Rosewood is averaging a 1.42 rating in the 18-49 demo, with around 4.956 million viewers.

Today, FOX also renewed Lucifer for a second season.
