Rugrats aired for nine seasons on Nickelodeon before it came to an end. Since the animated series ended, many fans have tried to imagine what the babies would look like as adults. Some have even drawn their own ideas about the characters as adults.
Eric Molinsky, one of the storyboard artists for the series, thinks they have it all wrong. In fact, he decided to share his own interpretation of the babies as adults. He shared it via his own website, Studio 360, recently.

What did Molinsky have to say about the drawings of others and his own interpretation. He said:
“It really bugs me – not the quality of the artwork, but the interpretation. We referred to them as lumpy babies for a reason. If we ever drew the Rugrats as being too cute, our executive producer would scold us…So no. The Rugrats did not all grow up to be fashion models or self-confident hipsters. Especially not Chuckie. They probably grew up to be average if not slightly lumpy looking people – just like their parents.”
