Sanjay and Craig: Season Three Renewal from Nickelodeon

Sanjay and Craig season threeSeason two of Sanjay and Craig is set to debut next month but fans don’t have to worry about that possibly being the end. Variety reports that Nickelodeon has renewed the animated series for a third season of 20 episodes.

Created by Jim Dirschberger, Jay Howell and Andreas Trolf, Sanjay and Craig revolves around the adventures of a 12-year-old Indian-American boy named Sanjay (Maulik Pancholy) and his best friend Craig (Chris Hardwick), a talking snake. Other voice actors include Matt Jones, Linda Cardellini, Nika Futterman, Tony Hale, Kunal Nayyar, and Grey DeLisle.

The animated series has done very well for the cable channel, attracting an average of three million viewers per episode and a 4.9 rating among kids ages 2-11.

“We really believe in the property, are very happy with the results. Jim and Jay and executive producers Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi and the whole crew are wonderfully creative, very smart and really professional and we all get along so well. Put all that together and you get your next season renewal,” said Rich Magallanes, Nickelodeon’s SVP of animation.
