On Scandal, Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) defends the public images of the most powerful people in Washington but now it’s her own image that needs protecting. This season, the cast also includes Tony Goldwyn, Bellamy Young, Scott Foley, Darby Stanchfield, Katie Lowes, Guillermo Diaz, Jeff Perry, and Joshua Malina.
Last season, Scandal saw a big bump in the ratings. This time around, they just held steady, averaging a 2.94 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.33 million viewers. Still, that was a close second to the network’s biggest new drama How to Get Away with Murder with a 2.96 rating and 9.76 million.
