Schitt’s Creek: Season Six; Pop Series Actors Talk About Wrapping the Series

Are you ready for the end of Schitt’s Creek? Recently, the stars of the Pop TV show discussed filming the sixth and final season, Variety reports.

The comedy series centers on the once wealthy Rose family, who lost nearly everything when the government collected on years of back taxes. Their only retreat is the backwater town of Schitt’s Creek, the family’s last remaining asset. The cast includes Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Daniel Levy, Annie Murphy, Chris Elliott, Jennifer Robertson, Emily Hampshire, Dustin Milligan, Tim Rozon, and Sarah Levy.

During a recent panel, Catherine O’Hara revealed she cried while filming the final episode of Schitt’s Creek:

The motel that my character went to bed crying every night — cried herself to sleep, hoping to get out of there — careful what you wish for. I cried.”

And what about Eugene Levy? He stole a few key items from set:

I took a couple of family portraits. They hold more value because they were the very first things we did on the show, were taking those family stills — even before we started shooting.”

And what can fans expect from the end of the Pop TV show? Co-creator and star Dan Levy says the final season will be satisfying:

At the end of the day, all people want out of a series finale is just a really f—ing great episode of your show. A simple conclusion to a story is just as impactful as taking your characters on this weird 180 to just try and do something exciting.”
