The second season of MTV‘s Scream TV show premieres Monday, May 30, 2016 at 11:00pm ET/PT. With all the Lakewoodians under suspicion, Zap2It visited the set and talked to Amadeus Serafini — who plays Kieran Wilcox, the man with a mysterious past — about the upcoming second season.
Serafini discusses Kieran easing his way into the group, as well as the state of his relationship with Emma (Willa Fitzgerald), in the second season of Scream. The cast also includes Amelia Rose (Piper), John Karna (Noah), and Bex Taylor Klaus (Audrey).

Where do we pick up with Kieran in Season 2?
I think he’s made his way into the group a little more, so he’s a little friendlier with the rest of the regular cast. We’ll get to see some of back story finally. Season 1 he was kind of just “mystery man,” but now we’ve got some other mystery men.
Where are Kieran’s feelings for Emma when she returns?
They’re stronger than ever. You guys know how Season 1 ended — his dad is gone. He’s only got Emma. He doesn’t have anyone from Atlanta. We know very little about Atlanta and Kieran’s background in Season 1, but again, you’re going to learn more this time around. I think you come to find that his feelings have intensified. I don’t think he’s going anywhere.
Will Kieran and Emma have a hard time getting back to their relationship?
I honestly don’t know how things are going to be mended. I think there’s going to be a lot of unforgivable shit this season between characters. I think they’re going to totally lose trust for each other.
The accomplice could be anyone, so should we still be suspicious of Kieran?
I think he’s had a bad wrap since Season 1. He really got thrown in the Billy Loomis boat. From social media, I can tell that not everyone’s let off that. They still think that Keiran may be it. A lot of people don’t want Kieran to be it, but that makes it that much more interesting, right?
What about the new characters coming aboard? Will they have any mysterious connections with the current characters?
There has to be! What’s the slogan? Trust no one? It’s going to get ever more convoluted, definitely, these new people you’ve got to watch out for.

Season 2 of Scream picks up with Emma’s return to Lakewood after several months at a retreat, where she tried to recover from the horrors of last season. Everyone is walking on eggshells around her, questioning whether she has truly gotten over the Killer’s crimes. Meanwhile, Audrey is hiding her connection to the Killer, but is getting harassed by someone who knows the truth. Brooke and Jake are also keeping secrets—they are hiding a budding romance from Mayor Maddox. And, Noah is getting closer and closer to the truth about the season 1 murders. Lakewood’s murderous past, both recent and distant, are once again brought to focus – with this Killer’s psychotic mind-game intent on bringing Lakewood’s heroes down in a storm of betrayal and bloodshed. Season 2 premieres May 30th.
