On the first season of Secrets and Lies, a house painter and family man discovers a neighbor boy’s dead body in the woods and he quickly goes from being a Good Samaritan to a murder suspect. The lives of everyone around him are turned upside down by the ensuing police investigation and media attention. Did he really do it? The season stars Lewis, Ryan Phillippe, Lewis, KaDee Strickland, Natalie Martinez, Dan Fogler, Indiana Evans, and Belle Shouse.
The series did pretty well in its first season, averaging a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.66 million viewers.
Some fans were upset by the way that the first season’s story ended but it’s looking doubtful that season two will bring any addition resolution. Word is that Lewis’ character will be the only one returning.
