Showtime Orders Shameless Season Eight
While it’s not yet up on the press site, the Shameless TV show has been renewed for an eighth season on Showtime. Deadline reports the Showtime has made the Shameless renewal official.
The confirmation comes as little surprise. Last week, star Emmy Rossum announced she was returning for the eighth season of Shameless. The studio had previously secured William H. Macy. Ethan Cutkosky, Shanola Hampton, Steve Howey, Emma Kenney, Cameron Monaghan, and Jeremy Allen White, also star.
A dark dramady, Shameless centers on the Gallagher family of Chicago. Last week, when Rossum announced her return, she indicated that production of Shameless season eight will begin in May 0f 2017.
