Season six of Shameless just premiered this past Sunday, but Showtime has already renewed the family dramedy for a seventh season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The season six premiere was apparently the series’ most-watched debut.
The series, which follows the exploits of the raucous Gallagher family, stars William H. Macy in an ensemble cast that includes Emmy Rossum, Jeremy Allen White, Cameron Monaghan, Emma Kenney, and Steve Howey.
