Shooter: Season Two; Beverly D’Angelo Returning, Three Added to USA Drama Series

Some new and familiar faces are coming to season two of Shooter. Deadline reports Beverly D’Angelo will return for the new season of the USA Network TV show alongside three new cast members.

The action drama follows Bob Lee Swagger (Ryan Phillippe), a retired marksman who is coaxed back into action when a sniper threatens to assassinate the president. The cast also includes Shantel VanSanten, Omar Epps, Eddie McClintock, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Tembi Locke, David Marciano, and Sean Cameron Michael.

D’Angelo will reprise her season one role of National Security Advisor Patricia Gregson on the upcoming season of Shooter. Additionally, Jerry Ferrara, Jesse Bradford, and Todd Lowe are joining the cast. Season two of Shooter premieres on USA Network on July 18th.

Ferrara (Entourage) will play Kirk Zehnder, a former marine who always detects a conspiracy and is part of the core team of Bob Lee Swagger (Phillippe). Bradford (Flags of Our Fathers) will recur in the guest star role of Harris Downey, a D.C. Staffer and love interest for Nadine Memphis (Cynthia Addai-Robinson). Lowe (True Blood) is set for the recurring role of Colin Dobbs, a former marine in Swagger’s unit, now living large in Texas an hour from the Swagger Ranch.”
