Shots Fired: Season Two; Would You Keep Watching the FOX TV Show?

Shots Fired TV show on FOX: canceled or season 2?

Have you been watching Shots Fired? The FOX TV show was originally billed as a limited series, but there have been recent talks of a possible second season. What do you think? Should the show be cancelled or renewed?

The drama explores the tense aftermath of two racially charged shootings in a small North Carolina town. The cast includes Sanaa Lathan, Stephan James, Helen Hunt, Richard Dreyfuss, Will Patton, Aisha Hinds, Conor Leslie, and Stephen Moyer.

In a recent interview with Deadline, creators Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Rock Bythewood said they were open to a second season of the FOX show. However, ratings for the freshman series have not been stellar.

Shots Fired debuted in March to a mediocre rating of 1.13 in the 18-49 demo and 4.70 million viewers. Since, the ratings have fallen even further. Currently, the show is averaging a 0.99 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 3.93 million viewers. While it’s not FOX‘s lowest-rated or least-watched show, the numbers certainly aren’t great.

Do you think FOX should risk another season? Would you watch more Shots Fired? Tell us what you think.
