So You Think You Can Dance wrapped its 12th season before the start of the fall season. Is there any season 13 news yet from FOX? Has So You Think You Can Dance been renewed yet?
Not yet, but a renewal is expected for this series soon. FOX had their Winter TCA panel on Friday, and Dana Walden spoke about the future of the series. According to TV Insider, she said:
“We hope [it’ll return]. We’re not finished in our conversations with the producers. We love the show, and hope and anticipate it will be coming back.”
However, fans can expect to see some changes on the series. This wouldn’t be the first time So You Think You Can Dance has undergone changes, but Walden says the changes would not “fundamentally change the show.”
A renewal is expected soon though, and Walden said the late renewal would not delay the series’ return to FOX for this summer.
