Son of Zorn: Season Two; Would You Watch More of the FOX Series?

Son of Zorn TV show on FOX: cancel or season 2?

Son of Zorn finished its first season back in February and FOX has still not announced whether it’s cancelled or renewed for season two. What do you think? Would you watch a second season of this crazy comedy?

The Son of Zorn sitcom follows Zorn (voiced by Jason Sudeikis), a warrior from a faraway island in the Pacific Ocean — where everything and everyone is animated — who returns to Orange County in California to win back his live-action ex-wife (Cheryl Hines) and their awkward teenage son (Johnny Pemberton). The cast also includes Tim Meadows and Artemis Pebdani.

Son of Zorn premiered on September 11th to a 2.44 rating in the 18-49 demo and 6.130 million viewers. That strong start was likely due to having a NFL game as a lead-in. The numbers dropped dramatically from there.

Overall, season one managed to earn an average rating of 1.29 in the 18-49 demo and 3.032 million viewers. While the show is still one of FOX‘s higher-rated series for the 2016-2017 season (thanks to the premiere skewing the averages), Son of Zorn has also received mixed reviews. It’s looking very unlikely to return for a second season.

But, what do you think? Do you like the Son of Zorn TV show? Do you think FOX should renew the comedy for a second season? Would you watch?
