South Park: Season 23 Ratings

South Park TV show on Comedy Central: season 23 ratings (cancel or renew?)
Once again, there’s no reason to worry that South Park will be cancelled anytime soon. Comedy Central recently announced that the animated series has been renewed through season 26. How long can South Park continue? Could it outlast The Simpsons? Stay tuned.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s animated Comedy Central TV series, South Park centers on four third grade boys who live in South Park, Colorado. They are Stanley “Stan” Marsh (Parker), Kyle Broflovski (Stone), Kenneth “Kenny” McCormick (Stone), and Eric Cartman (Parker). The voice cast of this long-running series also includes Mona Marshall, April Stewart, Adrien Beard, and Jennifer Howell.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.

For comparisons: The 22nd season of South Park on Comedy Central averaged a 0.50 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 861,000 viewers.

Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
