TV show description:
This comedy TV series follows the DiMeo family, a loving and sometimes overwhelming group of unique personalities.

Maya DiMeo (Minnie Driver) is a no-nonsense and sometimes outlandish mom on a mission. She’ll do anything for her loved ones and fights injustices — both real and imagined. Her husband, Jimmy (John Ross Bowie), is a bit overwhelmed by his wife and is smarter than he believes himself to be.

Ray (Mason Cook) is their brainy middle child. Dylan (Kyla Kennedy) is their take no prisoners athletic and youngest child. JJ (Micah Fowler) is their eldest, teenage son who has cerebral palsy.

As the series begins, Maya moves the family from a middle-class neighborhood to an upscale school district. She’s searching for just the right person to give JJ his “voice.” Could the school’s groundskeeper, Kenneth (Cedric Yarbrough), be the person to do that?

Series Finale:
Episode #63, “U-N-R– UNREALISTIC”
Maya braces for JJ’s high school graduation and departure for college, but tough news from NYU changes everything. Dylan teaches Jimmy a “Dad lesson” as he gets ready for a big job interview. Kenneth pressures JJ to prepare for a grand finale to their time together, and Ray uses his class trip to Catalina to examine his bad luck in love.
First aired: April 12, 2019
