Steve Harvey: Daytime Series Ending; New Show Launching in 2017

While not cancelled, Steve Harvey’s daytime talkshow, Steve Harvey is ending after the current fifth season wraps up in May. Deadline reports the comedian’s contract with the show’s producer, EndemolShine North America, ends in 2017.

Harvey is developing a new daytime show with IMG.  NBCUniversal Domestic Television, which handles the current show, will also distribute the new show.

While the Steve Harvey show shoots in Chicago, the new program will be produced in Los Angeles. The news outlet expects it to be more “celebrity-driven.”
