How popular is Stranger Things? Recently, Nielsen released viewing estimates for season two of the Netflix TV show, Deadline reports.
Set in the 1980s, the supernatural drama follows the residents of a small Indiana town in the aftermath of a boy’s mysterious disappearance. The cast includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Cara Buono, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, Sadie Sink, Sean Astin, and Paul Reiser.
Season two of Stranger Things just dropped on October 27th and according to Nielsen, episode one averaged 15.8 million viewers within the first three days. Additionally, each episode of season two averaged 4 million viewers overall and 361,000 viewers watched the entire second season the day it launched.
