Meghan Markle isn’t the only Suits star in the spotlight. USA Network has finally revealed the titled for Gina Torres’ upcoming spin-off TV show, Deadline reports.
Titled Second City, the Suits spin-off “centers on her character, powerhouse lawyer Jessica Pearson, as she enters the dirty world of Chicago politics.” And while they share a name, the series is not affiliated with the Chicago-based improv enterprise, The Second City, which is responsible for launching the careers of Stephen Colbert, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, and more.
Suits‘ recent season seven finale served as a backdoor pilot for Second City. USA Network has yet to announce a premiere date for Second City, but it will air during the 2018-2019 season alongside Suits‘ eighth season.
