The League of Freedom is coming back, for more. The third season of the SuperMansion TV show will resume on Crackle, Thursday, April 12, 2018. The hiatus has been rather lengthy, as the first half of season three premiered back in October. Crackle also announced it is planning a SuperMansion special for the summer of 2018.
A Crackle stop-motion animated comedy, SuperMansion stars Bryan Cranston, Keegan-Michael Key, Heidi Gardner, Zeb Wells, Jillian Bell, Chris Pine, and Yvette Nicole Brown. The TV series centers on the aging superhero, Titanium Rex (Cranston). Saturday Night Live‘s Mikey Day guest stars as Max Penalizer, in the upcoming installment.

EMMY-NOMINATED ‘SUPERMANSION’ RETURNS THURSDAY, APRIL 12TH WITH SPECIAL GUEST MIKEY DAY, PLUS ALL-NEW SUMMER 2018 SPECIAL
Pasadena, CA, January 14, 2018 – Crackle, Sony Pictures Television Networks’ free, ad-supported streaming network, today announced that “SuperMansion” will be returning with six all-new 22-minute episodes of the Emmy-nominated stop-motion animated series beginning Thursday, April 12th. Mikey Day (“SNL”) will guest star as Max Penalizer, an anti-hero meting out justice with his Ball Peen Gavel of justice. In addition, the network announced plans for an upcoming summer 2018 special.
In the upcoming season, the lunatics get the keys to the asylum when Dr. Devizo (Chris Pine) is declared a hero after “saving the world” at the end of last season. He and the Injustice Club are all made honorary members of the League of Freedom. The heroes and villains must learn to live and work together if they’re going to combat the never-ending amount of evil in the world.
Bryan Cranston (“Breaking Bad”), Keegan-Michael Key (“Key & Peele”), Chris Pine (Star Trek), Jillian Bell (22 Jump Street), Yvette Nicole Brown (“Community”), Heidi Gardner(“SNL”), Tucker Gilmore (Frozen) and Zeb Wells (The Amazing Spider-Man, “Robot Chicken”) will all return as voice-over stars in the upcoming season.
“SuperMansion” is created by Zeb Wells (“Robot Chicken”) and Matthew Senreich, who also act as executive producers under their production company Stoopid Buddy Stoodios alongside Seth Green, John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner. Bryan Cranston and James Degus also serve as executive producers under their production banner Moon Shot Entertainment.
