Superstition: Syfy Delays Season One Debut Date; Unveils New Trailer

Premiere date: Superstition TV show on Syfy: season 1 release date (canceled or renewed?)

(Xlrator Media)

Although it was originally scheduled for an October 6th release, Syfy has rescheduled the Superstition TV show premiere to Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:00pm ET/PT. Syfy has also unveiled a new teaser-trailer (see below). Not debuting a TV show called Superstition on Friday, October 13th seems like an opportunity squandered, but we digress.

A horror drama, Superstition stars Mario Van Peebles, W. Earl Brown, Demetria McKinney, Diamond Dallas Page, Robinne Lee, Brad James, Morgana Van Peebles, T.C. Carter, and Tatiana Lia Zappardino. The Syfy series centers on the Hastings family of La Rochelle, Georgia. The Hastings own the town’s only funeral home and cemetery. They also offer “afterlife care,” in response to deaths of a supernatural nature, which happen far too frequently in this “landing patch” of a town.
